Cultural Revolution Poster - Taiwan Kids

Titled “Letter to our Little Taiwan friends” by the author of “Xie Cong Rong” and “Ling Yong Quan”, this rare Cultural Revolution propaganda poster features a group of Chinese kids getting together preparing a package to be sent to Taiwan. In this vividly depicted image, a young pioneer kid is holding an arrow, while another kid sewing a Chinese flag. One kid appears to be reading a letter drafted to the little friends of Taiwan, as evidenced by the envelop one kid is holding. The message on the right states that the kids of China wishes that Taiwan would be united with the Motherland of China. In addition, the poster depicts some pictures the kids had drawn up; on the very front is a picture that is titled “I love TianAnMen”.
