n extremely rare Chinese Communist Party Representatives 10th Summit Meeting Excerpt, this small yet colorful red book contains picture images of political figures such as the Gang of Four, with very unusual photo images of Wang Hong Wen, Jiang Qing, Zhang Chun Qiao, Yiao Wen Yuan (KNOWN AS The GANG OF FOUR),Kang Sheng, Zhou En Lai and many others who were later considered political criminals by the Central Government of China.

It appears that certain pages may be missing, we suspect it had to do with that this book also contained either languages or pictures of certain government officials who were later fallen out of favor of Mao. Any pictorial and or documentation with reference to the the Gang of Four were ordered to be turned in to the government and subsequently destroyed. Red Books contain photos of these historical figures are extremely difficult to come by.

We found this red book and its three sisters at an underground second hand bookstore in Beijing and were astonished to see that these red books have somehow escaped the hands of the Chinese government. Evidenced by the pen mark, this red book likely belonged to someone who is a member of the Communist Party and had been studying the party meeting's excerpt diligently.

Anyone who is familiar with Chinese Cultural Revolution Political landscape will not only appreciate the collectible value of this red book but also will have the opportunity to revisit the main political messages that were delivered during this historical meeting.
