Lin Biao's words - Mao the Great Helmsman
This rare red book has several places where Lin Biao's words were prominently displayed. In late 1960s, Lin Biao rose to power and was considered Mao's successor. This all ended abruptly when history took a sudden turn and Mao had decided to get rid of Lin Biao. Lin Biao and his family died from a plane crash as he and his family attempted to escape for Soviet Union. Since then, the government ordered all political materials containing Lin Biao's name to be turned in, however a few of them have escaped the fate of destruction and recently graced the market as collectibles. In addition to Lin Biao's words on the cover of this red book, his writing was printed in several pages of this book. As evident by the handwriting, this book once upon a time was owned by someone named "Qui Hua", and was thoroughly studied. Size: 4" T by 2.75" W. This book was published in 1968 in Beijing.
