Chubby
baby New Year posters are one of our most favorite subjects
in collecting Chinese Propaganda art and we believe it should
be its own category because it is a mixture of the traditional
form of art and the contemporary messages. It is not political
in many levels and represents truly what people feel - peace,
longevity, happiness, wealth and health, a long-standing tradition
of Chinese culture and customs. It often depicts happy and
chubby children who are radiating with smiles. Who would not
like them?
