Father commissioned the 8-piece dining table set (2 chairs not shown in these pictures) in the early 90s, when large zitan logs were still available. The coloration of the zitan log was unusually rich - the golden strands of zitan grain, which often not available to most zitan pieces, could be seen on the table top throughout, making this truly a contemporary work of art.

This table has a removable leaf. 2 of the 8 chairs are arm chairs.
